The student’s conference (SKIL) hosted by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Leipzig addresses all students of computer sciences as well as all neighboring disciplines focusing on computer science subjects. Aim of the conference is to offer all students a platform to present their projects and research projects.

Topics

At the center of the conference’s attention will be collegiate projects of seminars, internships and practical trainings, final theses as well as results of projects of extra-curricular activities. The conference is part of the Multi-Conference SABRE 2012 on September 25, 2012 in Leipzig.

Submissions can be based on results of seminars, internships, practical trainings, final projects or theses and should be written in English or German. The selection process will be effected as peer-review by the program committee.

Submissions

Accepted papers will be published in proceedings. Moreover, outstanding contributions will be awarded.

In general, SKIL welcomes contributions from all fields of the Computer Science domain:

  • posters, demonstrations, abstracts (approx. 2-4 pages)
  • short papers (4-6 pages)
  • full papers (10-12 pages)

  • August 10, 2012 notification of acceptance
  • August 27, 2012 camera ready paper submission
  • September 25, 2012 presentation at the conference
