Christopher Eads is a researcher and activist in the field of sustainable community based technology and development. He has spent the past few months collaborating and doing research with the Philadelphia Assembled project under Jeanne Van Heeswick with the Philadelphia Museum of art where he spent time working in collaboration with organizations such as The Enterprise Center in West Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance and the African Cultural Arts Forum to develop grassroots level manufacturing technology. Eads has spent his time incubating sustainable grass roots level manufacturing processes in his time at ACA., while he is currently in the research and collection phase of this process he hopes to materialize some form of sustainable community accessible manufacturing technology soon and share his findings with the research community as well as with grass roots organizations who are looking to alleviate economic burdens on their own communities. Currently an undergraduate at Temple University he has already received an associates degree in fine arts and his certification in community arts practices.
