1st International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence - Semantic Web, Social Networks & Multiagent Systems 5-7 October, 2009 Wrocław (Poland) Organized in cooperation with: Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland), Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ( Taiwan) Computational Collective Intelligence (CCI) is most often understood as an AI sub-field dealing with soft computing methods which enable making group decisions or processing knowledge among autonomous units acting in distributed environments. Web-based systems, social networks and multi-agent systems very often need these tools for working out consistent knowledge states, resolving conflicts and making decisions. The aim of this conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the computer-based methods of collective intelligence and their applications in (but not limited to) such fields as semantic web, social networks and multi-agent systems. The proceedings of ICCCI 2009 will be published as a volume in series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence of Springer. Authors are invited to submit original papers in LNAI style, up to 12 pages (regular papers) or 8 pages (short papers). For the post-conference publication several special issues in ISI/SCI journals are planned.
