                          29 June - 2 July 2009

                          http://www.iccsa.org

The 2009 International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2009)
will be held from June 29 to July 3, 2008 July 2009 at the Kyung Hee University, Yongin (South Korea)
in a country rich of scientific and business opportunities, cultural treasures and 5000 magnificent
years of history and tradition.

ICCSA 2009 is the next event in the series of highly successful International Conferences on
Computational Science and Its Applications, previously held in Perugia, Italy (2008), Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia (2007), Glasgow, United Kingdom (2006), Singapore (2005), Assisi, Italy (2004), Montreal,
Canada (2003), and, as ICCS, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2002) and San Francisco (2001).

Computational Science is a main pillar of most of the present research, industrial and
commercial activities and plays a unique role in exploiting ICT innovative technologies.
The ICCSA Conference offers a real opportunity to bring together scientists of different
disciplines, discuss new issues, tackle complex problems and find advanced solutions
breeding new trends in Computational Science.

Paper Submission
---------------------

We cordially invite you to submit contributions concerned with the Themes listed above as papers:

of 10 to 16 pages (Theme Papers) that, after the reviewing process, will be published in the
Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) volumes. The submitted paper must
be camera-ready, formatted according to the LNCS rules.

of 5 to 11 pages (Session Papers) that, after the reviewing process, will be published in the
IEEE Computer Society proceedings. The submitted paper must be camera-ready, formatted
according to the IEEE Computer Society rules.

Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions for formatting information and templates.

Papers submitted to the general tracks have to adopt the LNCS format.
Papers submitted to a given session should adopt a common format (IEEE-CS or LNCS, according to
the info listed for each session in the Conference web page http://www.iccsa.org/sessions )

To submit a paper, please connect to the Submission site from the link available at the ICCSA 2009
web site.
Only papers submitted through the electronic system and strictly adhering to the relevant
format will be considered for reviewing and publication.

The paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere
(copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed
by at least three experts in the relevant field (acceptance rate was 28% in 2005, 26% in 2006 and
28% in 2007, 29% in 2008) ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.

When a paper is accepted at least one of the authors has to register to the conference and deliver
the related talk. Failure to do so shall lead to rejection of the application to attend next year
conference and the exclusion of the paper for the current year proceedings.
