Selma Azaiez is a research engineer at CEA-List, the digital systems division of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), based in Saclay, France. Her work focuses on the design, verification, and real-time monitoring of cyber-physical systems (CPS).

Holding a Ph.D. in engineering (2008), Selma has contributed to numerous research projects and publications in the field. She is currently coordination the European Project COGNIFOG aunched in January 2023 which aims to develop a novel Cognitive Fog Framework to enable autonomous, intelligent data processing for smart IoT applications, leveraging artificial intelligence and edge computing.

Selma's research aims to bridge the gap between high-level system design and practical implementation, ensuring that complex CPS can operate reliably and efficiently in dynamic environments.
