Tim Wittenborg is a PhD Student at the L3S Research Center, working in the SE²A - Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Aviation Cluster of Excellence and on the Open Research Knowledge Graph. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, completing his Master degree at the University of Paderborn in 2022 and spending 10 months as a mechanical engineering PhD student in the information management group of the product creation department. Since progressing to Leibniz University Hannover in January 2023, he studies under professor Sören Auer, focussed on developing knowledge infrastructure. He has published a paper on such infrastructure supporting the systematic literature process and founded a non-profit organization to support the establishment of a knowledge community for distributed scientific communication.
