The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) is an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with VR/AR software and technology.

The VRST symposium brings together the main international research groups working on AR/VR/MR, along with many of the world’s leading companies that provide or utilize AR/VR systems. The VRST 2020 conference will be held in Ottawa, Canada, hosted by Carleton University, from November 1 to November 4, 2020. The event is sponsored by ACM SIGCHI and SIGGRAPH.

For the first time, VRST will be colocated with the ACM CHI Play 2020 Symposium (https://chiplay.acm.org/2020/), to help foster collaborations between researchers in the increasingly related VR and games/HCI communities.
