I am writing to you from the '''Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization''' to share information about an upcoming conference which you, your students and your colleagues might be interested in. The '''CTBT: Science and Technology 2017 Conference (SnT 2017)''' will take place from '''26 to 30 June 2017''' at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria. It will be the sixth in a series of multidisciplinary conferences designed to further enhance the strong relationship between the scientific and technological community and the CTBTO. 

The conference series provides a forum for scientists from around the world to exchange knowledge and share advances in monitoring and verification technologies of relevance to the '''Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT)'''. Such interaction helps ensure that the Treaty’s global verification regime remains at the forefront of scientific and technical innovation. 

The 1996 '''Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT)''' bans all nuclear explosions by everyone, everywhere: on the Earth's surface, in the atmosphere, underwater and underground. The CTBTO is tasked with establishing a verification regime which includes a global network of over 300 monitoring stations. 

I would be grateful if you could share information about the Conference and encourage students and colleagues to submit abstracts and attend. Please find attached a short electronic flyer. We would also be happy to provide you with printed posters and flyers for distribution.
